I’ve always loved to reread my favorite books. I feel like the first time you read a book, it’s like meeting the story. Then, each time you reread you’re getting to know the book more and more. The book begins to share its secrets with you, you become more intimate. It’s like going out on multiple dates and peeling back the layers.
So, while I don’t want to create another challenge for myself, I do want to make a vow to myself. I want to find time to reread a handful of my favorites, the ones that I constantly think about:
Altogether that’s a total of 19 books (since I’m stopping the Fever reread at Shadowfever). I think that’s completely doable.
Does anyone want to join me?
I love to reread my favorite books! I’ve already done two rereads this year, and I have some more I’m hoping to get to that I didn’t last year. I’m definitely with you on this one!

When I was younger I did a LOT of rereading. Now, between Goodreads and blogging, my TBR is so big that I fit them in so much less. I can’t wait to reread my favorites. 🙂

Good luck with your re-reading! I agree with you, every time I re-read a book it seems like a new detail emerges, a new secret is uncovered, a new feeling is brought to life. Books are truly magical 🙂

I’ve never read any of these books, but I’ve been meaning to get around to The Demon King soon. Maybe we could read that one!

Absolutely! That sounds like a lot of fun! I’d also love to get someone who hasn’t read it’s perspective, it would bring something new to my reread. 😀

Awesome! It would probably be the end of February before I could get to it though. So I hope that’d be alright…

End of February would be better, even early March. Yay, this is going to be so fun!

I love re-reading, and that’s exactly what I mostly utilize audio for. I do listen to new to me books, as well, but I just love re-read listens!
Good luck!

I think I prefer reread listens… I think. I’ve been struggling to find a book to listen to lately. Nothing sounds good, like physically sounds good to my ears. They’ve been sounding robotic.

According to Article 1 Section 4, you should read The Understatement of the Year. 😉

LOL! I’m not sure that article applies to books I’ve already read and recommended to you. 😛

Sorry, wasn’t done yet haha. I’m actually doing a BR with others in my Goodreads group of the Demon King the beginning of march. You’re totally invited to join. 🙂 I haven’t read it yet, but am really looking forward to it.

I’m only a part of this one group and it’s a lot of fun. Everyone reads the stuff I like and are super friendly. 🙂
