Facts About Birdie:
- I used to go to summer camp as a teen volunteer. My last year there I had a nightmare that the inside of my sleeping bag was coated in tiny spiders. I threw myself off the top bunk in my sleep and landed on a trunk. I still have the scars on my back.
- My favorite food is tacos. Or anything Mexican really, but tacos are easy to do at home and absolutely delicious. It’s my birthday dinner every year. (Now I want some tacos!)
- My first pet was a Boston Terrier we named Rocky. I took one look at him in the pet store and knew I had to have him so I took out my very first loan and brought him home that day. He was with us for 15 years. We lost him 2 years ago.
- I have a Mountain Dew addiction that I keep trying to break. I go a few months without any, and then I get a craving and drink them non-stop. Until my daughter guilt’s me into quitting again.
- The first television show I can remember loving as a kid, non-cartoon, was Punky Brewster. I love it so much that I bought all the seasons and I watched them all with my daughter.
- I have a hard time being stationary. I tend to feel an urge to move every couple years. It drives my husband and my family insane. We’ve recently bought a house so now I need to try rearranging my furniture.
- I know all these facts about me are rather boring, but I’m not very good at coming up with facts about myself. In fact, the more I sit here and try to think of cool things about myself the more my mind glazes over.

Man, I really need to too! With all the remakes happening, I keep worrying that they’ll try to do it again. That would be awful!

Aww thank you so much for the nomination! ❤ Loving your answers 😀
You know, it's so strange, number one sounds just like me. I used to volunteer at summer camps and while I never had a night terror about spiders while I was there, I get them quite frequently at home! Coincidence! I'm sorry to hear about your scars, though. I can't imagine how painful that must have been.
It sounds like Rocky was a lovely dog. Losing pets, whether you've had them for a matter of months or for most of your life, never gets any easier, does it? 😦 They become such an integral part of your family!

That is quite a coincedence! I’ve actually not had a night terror that bad since. I don’t even really know what caused it. I’ve also never fallen out of bed before, other than that one time. So odd.

Congrats on the award!! 😀
Omg that spider nightmare! NOOOOO!! *cringes*
I actually know a woman who said that happened to her when she was a kid. I don’t think I’d ever be the same if that happened to me. lol Spiders are one of my biggest phobias.

Mine too, haha! Obviously, right. And funnily enough, in the dream it was my friend who told me to look inside my blanket. So for years after him I would remind him of that time he almost killed me. 😀

Haha, I think your facts are interesting! Tacos are yummy, I’ve recently been obsessed with burritos! Uhh they are SO good haha! 😛 You just went home with a dog one day? I think if I ever came home with a pet, no matter I was taking care of everything my parents would kill me, and either make me take the pet back, or make me move out. They do not want pets.
So you move houses all the time? I don’t think I could do that.

I used to move houses all the time. Now I’m penned in with a mortgage! And I did walk out with a dog, but it was after I had my own apartment. I definitely wouldn’t have tried it while living at home. 🙂

Ahhhh that makes more sense! I was like very brave of you to walk home with a dog like that. I wanna do that one day, if I can afford to live in my own space! 😛

I knew that I wanted a dog as soon as I moved out. I couldn’t have one when I was a kid. Cats only.

Well at least you could have a pet, I’m not allowed any pets.

Congrats on your award! That nightmare, oh my goodness! too scary! I hope you didn’t get badly hurt, but the trunk is no soft landing! I have moved a few times, but moving is not fun. Actually, too much work!! Hopefully you will like your new place 🙂 Maybe you can look into how they make Mountain Dew then you won’t want to drink anymore because it’s no fruit juice. It’s not healthy and there’s no nutritious values to drinking it and the added sugar will only harm your health. Thanks also, for nominating me! 🙂

That’s very true about Mountain Dew, which is exactly why I keep nixing it from my diet. Eventually I think, ‘I’ll just have one today’, and then I’m rehooked. 🙂
