Posts I Loved in November

Kristin at Kristin Kraves Books ran a post last month that drew attention to her favorite blog posts that month.  I know there’s a lot of people out there who do something similar, monthly or weekly, but there was something about the way she wrote it that made me think of a meme.  I was so glad when she decided to invite others to join her.
I love spreading the blogging love!

This is my first post highlighting my favorites.
Next month I’ll have more than three, because I’ll start watching for posts immediately and not a week before it goes live.  😀

Bionic Book Worm – Advice on Blogging

Advice on blogging is always a good post.  I know they’re one of my favorites to read.  I think I’ve gotten some great tips from reading other peoples ideas on how to de-stress blogging, and tips on sprucing up your place.  Bionic Book Worm wrote three posts on this, and I thought they were all fun and interesting.

Naty’s Bookshelf – 10 Things that Changed After Blogging

Naty really got me thinking about things that have changed since I started my blog.  I think I always wrote in acronyms, just from being on Goodreads, but I definitely broadened my reading tastes and was introduced to books I may not have found otherwise.  Great post for getting our minds thinking, Naty!

Laura Noakes – Books + Looks

I loved this post!  The pictures were so adorable, and Laura’s style is so fresh and sweet.  And of course, to pair each look with a book really spoke to the book worm inside me.  I just discovered Laura’s blog, and so far I love it!  Really unique and fun post.

My Peacock Books – Free Books/ARCs Help the Publishing Industry so Stop

I’ve never understood why amateur reviewers get such grief.  There’s either the group of people who think we’re wasting our time, because we’re not getting paid, and the group who thinks our reviews are less relevant.  I don’t get it, and I thought this blog really covered why an amateur review is important.

I can’t wait to see what posts others chose to highlight this month!

Thanks again for creating a really fun monthly meme, Kristin!

About Birdie

Don’t look for her in any bar, club, crazy raging party, or anywhere there may be a large gathering of strangers. She’s more likely to be found tucked into the corner of the couch watching one of her favorite shows, or preferably under a comforter with her current novel.
