The High’s & Low’s!

This was a big month, simply because we had the final Kate Daniel’s book Magic Triumphs.  I’ve been reading that series so long, I feel like it’s the end of an era.  Thankfully we also got Iron and Magic, from the same authors in the same world!  So, it’s over for Kate and Curran, but we still have plenty more to read.  I also think there will be more yet to come.  I have a feeling we’re looking at a spin-off incoming, and I know I’m thrilled.

I also signed up for a blog tour of Calling Calling Calling Me by Natasha Washington, which was so good!  I didn’t expect to love it as much as I did, but it was really well done.  Romantic, and I even cried.

We also got new releases in both the Winston Brothers series and the THIRDS series, both of which were enjoyable and really fun to read.   New reads in a favorite series always makes the month good, and August was a nice reading month.  Plus, I also got in a reread!  Granted, it happened because of two DNF’s, one of which was the Demon King spin off series which only made me crave a reread -still, I’ll take it.  It’s a series I’ve been wanting to reread, and therefore it was extra enjoyable.

Next Month Reads

On the Schedule

Keeper Bees Ferry Bones Gold Craft Brew

The Potentials

exiled-queen gray-wolf crimson-crown

Again, I don’t have much scheduled in September, which means I should be able to squeeze in my entire Seven Realms reread in.  So, be on the lookout for that series review.  I’ve been really trying to fit squeeze in updated reviews of old favorites, and this will be one of them.

Other than that, my to read is my playground.  I’ll be reading whatever I want, whenever I want.  I’ll also be on the lookout for recommendations, so feel free to stop and leave something good in the comment section!  Especially anything Autumn weather related.

Was your August as good for you as it was for me?
I want to hear all about it!  Don’t hold back.  🙂

Do you have any special plans for September?
It doesn’t even have to be about books?  Tell me anything.

About Birdie

Don’t look for her in any bar, club, crazy raging party, or anywhere there may be a large gathering of strangers. She’s more likely to be found tucked into the corner of the couch watching one of her favorite shows, or preferably under a comforter with her current novel.

I’ve heard of the Dr. Strange Beard book!!! so many people love it, but I’ve always been weird about beards??
I don’t know, I’ve always been attracted to clean shaven faces, I think I just can’t get out of my head how itchy beards might be???
and then I feel claustrophobic, even though I’m sure guys feel fine w beards, or they’d just shave.
GOSH. I need to get over it bc the books seem so amazing??!! c:
