We’re BACK, Bit… ahem- Blogging Buddies!

Let me just say, taking a month off blogging was HARD!  I didn’t even realize how addicted and habitual Birdie Bookworm has become.  Seriously, I had to work to not come on and update stuff.  Frequently I failed!  Angie Elle called me out once, when she noticed my ‘currently reading’ magically update.  I also couldn’t resist responding to comments, and man did it become so incredibly hard to resist ARCs!  It was so hard, I cut my break short and I’m writing this on November 28th.  Three full days before my return in December.

I am returning with a new update though.  I enticed a friend of mine to write for Birdie Bookworm occasionally.  It’s perfect.  She has an outlet, and I have help!  Plus, her name is Cat!  Cat and Birdie… I mean, isn’t it perfect?  ahem… I mean purrrrfect?

Now I’ll throw it to Cat so she can introduce herself!  Welcome, Cat!

Hi there!  I’m Cat.  Some of you may remember me from my previous guest spots which included a review of a Col. Sanders Romance novel, and another in which I was freaked the hell out by ghost sex

My husband and I try our best to guide the huge, intense and SUPER PUMPED personality that is our nine year old son through to young adulthood.  We also share our home with three Generals: General George Washington the pug, General Charles Cornwallis who is a beautiful long haired cat, and a Bug (Boston Terrier/Pug mix) named General William Tecumseh Sherman   My usual reading home is very non-fiction, heavy on American History.  However, the soft, warm and fuzzy chair of my reading home is historical romance novels. OMG I love those things.  Give me Regency or give me death!  (Not really. I’ll take Edwardian or time-travel in a pinch.)

Oh, and warning – dry humor ahead.

About Birdie

Don’t look for her in any bar, club, crazy raging party, or anywhere there may be a large gathering of strangers. She’s more likely to be found tucked into the corner of the couch watching one of her favorite shows, or preferably under a comforter with her current novel.
