Top 5 Tuesday | U to Z, My Characters

Week #2, coming to the end. U through Z.

This is tough!!

These are the most difficult letters to select. So you only get what I got. Which is only 3 out of 5.

Top 5 Tuesday was originally hosted by Shanah at Bionic Book Worm, but recently found it’s home with Meeghan at Meeghan Reads.

V – Victor Bayne

“I’ve never liked the word team. I’ve always equated it with being picked last and getting nailed in the groin with a dodgeball.”

Jordan Castillo Price, PsyCop

There is no character in this world I identify more with than Victor Bayne. He is me. We think the same. We see the world the same. We see the world the same.
The level of anxiety, selfconsciousness. She wrote a very realistic character. The books are always good, but it’s Vic who brings me back.

W – Walter Lucas

“He didn’t say anything, because he couldn’t. Because he wanted to say things like I can’t sleep with you because it wouldn’t be like the other guys I fuck. I can’t sleep with you because I already think about you way too much, care way too much, and if I sleep with you, I’m scared to think about how bad it would be if things didn’t work out, if you went away too like everybody else always does. He couldn’t say any of that, which meant he couldn’t, not really, say anything at all.”

Heidi Cullinan, Love Lessons

Walter came out of nowhere. He had such a big heart, and a big presence. He was protective, and funny and caring. I loved his humor, and his confidence that hid something vulnerable inside. He’s not my favorite character Heidi Cullinan has written, but he’s the character that kept me reading the series.

Z – Zsadist

“I was dead until you found me, though I breathed. I was sightless, though I could see. And then you came…and I was awakened.”

J.R. Ward, Lover Awakened

If Rhage’s book was my favorite, my favorite brother was Z. He was so damaged and broken, but he worked so hard to heal himself for the love his Bella and their daughter. He started so dark and rotten, but by the end he was pure and an angel.

About Birdie

Don’t look for her in any bar, club, crazy raging party, or anywhere there may be a large gathering of strangers. She’s more likely to be found tucked into the corner of the couch watching one of her favorite shows, or preferably under a comforter with her current novel.
