I went a long time only doing tags that I was actively tagged in, but lately there have been so many interesting ones, and I just can’t resist them! I have to do them! So, I’ve stolen this tag from Michelle at Book Adventures. So, Michelle, thanks for posting this awesome tag for me to steal!
If you don’t follow Michelle, you should definitely go check her out. Among many other wonderful content, she posts great tags! 😀
First TV show you ever watched.
At first I thought this was a hard question, trying to figure out the first show I ever watched. Then it just hit me. I’ve been watching General Hospital off and on for as long as I can remember. When I was really little my mom was a fan. It didn’t last long for her, but it stuck for me. It hasn’t been consistent my whole life, but I always find my way back. I’ve been watching since the 80’s.
♥
All time favorite TV show.
This was hard, because I have two favorite TV shows but I’m going to go with the one I’ve loved the longest. Buffy the Vampire Slayer was spectacular. It had the best cast, and it had the best world. The symbolism was off the charts. And of course, it had Angel and Spike!
♥
Your character crush.
Beautiful and bad Logan Echolls from Veronica Mars. This is my second favorite show, ever, and a big part of that was my insane fan crush on Logan Echolls. He was sarcastic, and snarky, and kind of an asshole. I know that as a woman we’re not supposed to love the jerks, but he was just so tender and sweet with Veronica, I couldn’t help it. (If only Jason Dohring wasn’t a Scientologist. Wah.)
♥
Favourite OTP.
Pacey and Joey, hands down. From season one Pacey was my favorite character, and I could feel their chemistry right from the beginning. I knew that in the end it would be Pacey, but of course I was still nervous that the writers would get it wrong. They didn’t, and it was beautiful. Perfect.
♥
Most disappointing ending or cancellation.
I loved That 70’s Show, for years. I just hate how it ended. It needed to end a season before it did. It needed to end when Eric left, because that weird guy wasn’t working. And then, on top of that, they put Jackie with Fez! With FEZ! First, Jackie should have ended the show with Hyde. If that couldn’t happen, then it should have at least been Kelso. Never Fez.
♥
A show you’d like to be on.
I love this game show! AND, I think I’d rock at it. Every single time we watch it, I spend the whole time planning what family and friends I’d take with me. All the laughs.
♥
A character you’d love to take out on a date.
Mmm, my newest character crush is Mon El of Daxam from Supergirl. Not only is he incredibly sexy, I mean look at those eyes and that smile, but he’s hilarious and sweet. I would definitely have a good time at dinner with Mon El.
♥
A popular TV show you can’t stand.
Really, it’s not the shows fault. It’s my husband’s fault. Between Live PD and Cops, I’m inundated with lame cop shows! I can’t stand it. It’s like the same scene over and over, just different faces. And he watches it for hours.
♥
A scene that made you cry like a baby.
I’ve cried so many times, it’s hard to pick just one. I think I have to go with the final episode of Vampire Diaries. It ended exactly the way I wanted it to, but I guess I didn’t realize that it would affect me the way it did. I cried multiple times, and sobbed at the end. Despite my interest fluctuating, the characters all ended up meaning a lot to me.
♥
A character with a killer wardrobe.
I can’t find any good pictures, and I know it’s kind of out of date, but even when I watch Friends now I think about how cute Rachel always looks. Even on her dress down days she was adorable. Not to mention that some of her looks were timeless. Her clothes really suited the fashionista.
Tag!
I’m not tagging anyone in this post, but if you have a love of television and you decide to do this tag, make sure to ping me. I’d love to read your picks!
Oh man my mom was into GH and got me hooked. I did stop watching probably when I first started working so about 10 years now. I still follow on social media and read recaps though. It was my favorite. Maybe I should jump back in 🙂

I keep thinking that too. Because I still follow everything and I hate not watx1hing it. Especially since Steve Burton is coming back!

I haven’t seen any of these!!!! I’m more of an Anime watcher (Goldorak, Candy, etc. when I was a kid). Now I’m watching the series my kids are following (Teen Wolf, 13 reasons why, Downtown Abbey, etc.). I read too much to really watch TV but I try to catch up on GOT 😉

Oddly enough, two of your comments went to spam. I resurected them. 🙂
I watch a lot of tv, as you can tell. I did watch 13 Reasons Why, it was pretty intense! And Game of Thrones has been so good this season. (I also watched most of Downton. I just missed the last season.)

Well spam is a plague right now 😉 And my man has just finished GOT 6 . We are waiting for the 7 season. Always late in Europe 😉

OhMyGosh! We got the same favorite tv show! BUFFY! *overexcited* Sorry, I love it when I find someone with similar interest as me!
And Logan Echolls is bae, he was a jerk but a very cute jerk that you had to love.
And Rachel from Friends was always on point with her clothes, I still try to dress like her!

LOL! i love finding people with the same interests as me too! Especially television.
Logan was a total jerk, but I think that’s why everything was so sweet with Veronica, because halfway through season 1 he was suddenly only nice to her. He made me swoon!

Loved reading this! Unfortunately, I didn’t get to watch too many of these, especially when they first came out, which makes me a bit sad because they do look great!
I do need to check out Supergirl, though! Daaamnn 😍
Great tag and great answers 😊

I will never forgive That 70’s Show for ending the show with Jackie and Fez!! Like, who made that decision and why did everyone agree?? She and Hyde were the most dynamic and interesting and ending it with Fez felt like a cop out. They 100% should have ended the show a season before they actually did. I loved the earlier seasons.
I also grew up with General Hospital playing in my house, I’d come home from school and my mom would be watching it. I never got hooked on it myself, but it gives me warm, familiar “homey feelings” whenever I see it or think of it!

I’m surprised, Soap Opera’s just suck you right in! There was a while there I had my husband hooked on it with me. And he didn’t grow up watching soaps at all. It can get pretty addicting.
Jackie and Fez was a travesty! Especially rewatching the whole show, because as funny as Fez was, he was a huge creepy perv the whole time! Jackie and Hyde were dynamic. Serious cop out!

My mom did have them on when I would do my homework, and they were pretty distracting to say the least ahhah. Dramatic confrontations and love affairs were much more interesting than math problems lol.
Ugh YES. It just makes no sense?? I felt no chemistry between them, it was so flat.

LOL, they’re pretty good at making you want to watch another episode to know what’s going to happen next.

Great answers!! Pacey and Joey are my OTP as well! I have watched the episode where they get stuck in the K mart so many times that it is embarrassing!!

Oh my, that is one of my all time favorite episodes too! I love when she shaves him!!! That one, and all of season 3. I could watch Pacey and Joey on repeat.

So, as I read this, Buffy is LITERALLY playing in front of me. I’m re-watching it again (for the umpteenth time). Season Two, Inca Mummy Girl. Xander’s hitting on mummy girl as I type this.
Weird coincidence or what?!

The best coincidence. I need to watch this whole series with my daughter, so she gets the brilliance of it.
