About the Book:  Kady, Ezra, Hanna, and Nik narrowly escaped with their lives from the attacks on Heimdall station and now find themselves crammed with 2,000 refugees on the container ship, Mao. With the jump station destroyed and their resources scarce, the only option is to return to Kerenza—but who knows what they’ll find seven months after the invasion?

Meanwhile, Kady’s cousin, Asha, survived the initial BeiTech assault and has joined Kerenza’s ragtag underground resistance. When Rhys—an old flame from Asha’s past—reappears on Kerenza, the two find themselves on opposite sides of the conflict.

With time running out, a final battle will be waged on land and in space, heros will fall, and hearts will be broken.

Why I’m dying to read this:

Well, there’s the obvious reason.  The fact that Obsidio is the third (and I think final) book in the Illuminae Chronicles.  That in itself is exciting.  They’re fast, and smart, and entertaining reads.

And then there’s also the fact that in Obsidio all of the characters come together, I hope.  I’m also excited because there really beautiful books!  I love collecting series that look fabulous on my bookshelves!

Who else is looking forward to this one?

About Birdie

Don’t look for her in any bar, club, crazy raging party, or anywhere there may be a large gathering of strangers. She’s more likely to be found tucked into the corner of the couch watching one of her favorite shows, or preferably under a comforter with her current novel.
