About the Book: Kate has come a long way from her origins as a loner taking care of paranormal problems in post-Shift Atlanta. She’s made friends and enemies. She’s found love and started a family with Curran Lennart, the former Beast Lord. But her magic is too strong for the power players of the world to let her be.
Kate and her father, Roland, currently have an uneasy truce, but when he starts testing her defenses again, she knows that sooner or later, a confrontation is inevitable. The Witch Oracle has begun seeing visions of blood, fire, and human bones. And when a mysterious box is delivered to Kate’s doorstep, a threat of war from the ancient enemy who nearly destroyed her family, she knows their time is up.
Kate Daniels sees no other choice but to combine forces with the unlikeliest of allies. She knows betrayal is inevitable. She knows she may not survive the coming battle. But she has to try.
For her child.
For the world.
Why I’m dying to read this:
I’m not sure what I’m feeling is excitement, or despression. This is technically the very last Kate Daniels book, and even though there is a spin off planned, I’m still so sad that we won’t be reading about Kate and Curran. We all love them so much.
On the other hand, this final book should be everything! Kate, protecting the world and their child. Kate battling her father, in the most epic showdown in Urban Fantasy! Hopefully a fabulous setup for Derek and Julie!
I can’t wait for this book!

Oh my word. I am so excited for this one, too! I want it now. And I love that it’s coming out earlier this year. We won’t have to wait quite as long. But I have a feeling it will seem like FOREVER!
It already has!
I am barely starting on this series and oh wow more books by Ilona Andrews! Gotta read the others first…
They are SO worth it!

I hope this last one will be a fantastic one then Wendy. Even if you’ll have a book hangover LOL
It will be so horribly wonderful!
I should really start this series because so many people seem to love it!
It really is one of the best Urban Fantasy series out there!
It’s always sad to say goodbye to a series we love. I hope you love and cherish this book with all your heart – I’ve only read the first in this series.
Happy readings! 😉
Oh man, and they only get better and better! I hope you keep going. 🙂
It has been a while since my last Ilona Andrews novel. That book looks intriguing. Thanks for sharing.
Kate Daniels is sooo good.
