Sharing blogging love is super important, which is why this monthly post is one I really enjoying drafting up.  Everyone out there writes wonderful, interesting ideas, so here I’m highlighting my favorites in May.  I hope you like them as much as I did.

 It was a slower month for me.  I didn’t get much visiting done around the blogosphere, but these two posts definitely were the most memorable for me.

Is Stress about Stats Holding your Blog Back?

I’ve definitely been stats obsessed over the course of the last two years.  I feel like I’ve gotten so much better, at times even going days and days without looking at my views.  I absolutely think we’re too hung up on the numbers, rather the interaction level, and that’s why this blog post really stood out for me.  I can see how stat stress can actually damage your growing and maturing blog.

Building Better Book Clubs:
How to Lead a Book Discussion

I have ALWAYS wished I was a book club person.  It sounds like so much fun, choosing a book and getting together to chat about it between the group.  The problem is I don’t do well with other peoples book choices.  I need a book club where everyone reads MY choice, but that’s never going to happen.  Anyway, I thought Jackie’s post was incredibly insightful about how to lead a discussion, and it made me wish I were the book club type all over again.

Don’t look for her in any bar, club, crazy raging party, or anywhere there may be a large gathering of strangers. She’s more likely to be found tucked into the corner of the couch watching one of her favorite shows, or preferably under a comforter with her current novel.
