2018 Beat the Backlist RESULTS!

BTB2018MainHeader_transparent

2018 Beat the Backlist has come to an end.  How did I do?  Meh… I guess I did okay.  Not great.

I read 15 books I consider part of ‘Beat the Backlist’.  What I qualify are books I put on my TBR list before 2018, and they were published before 2018.  I also don’t count sequels.  (If I did count sequels, it’s actually closer to 32 books.)

Also, thank you to Novel Knight for hosting a fantastic challenge!  I look forward to it every year!

About Birdie

Don’t look for her in any bar, club, crazy raging party, or anywhere there may be a large gathering of strangers. She’s more likely to be found tucked into the corner of the couch watching one of her favorite shows, or preferably under a comforter with her current novel.

  1. I think you did great! Sometimes it’s hard picking a TBR at the beginning of the year. I had like 30 books on my TBR originally for BTB, and by the end of the year, I didn’t even want to read some of them anymore.

  2. Wow.

I am hoping I’ll have that same kind of feeling of self-driven gratitude after I complete my first #BeatTheBacklist challenge this coming year!! What really fuelled my interest was having the chance to dig into stories I just never had the joy of reading previously… looks like you read as eclectically and diversely as I do! Happy travels this New Year into the bookish realms that interest you!!
