2019 Blogging/Reading Resolutions

This year my resolutions are short and sweet.

Birdie resolves to use not be so strict in her blogging schedule.

In 2016 and 2017 I was able to blog religiously, regularly, following a pretty steady schedule.  2018, it was more of a struggle, and I spent a lot of time agonizing over it.  I started to feel like I was failing as a blogger, by letting my struggles interfere with my time online.  Because I want to be online.  I want to be reading and blogging, and spending all my extra time in the Blogosphere.

Unfortunately sometimes life doesn’t allow it, and I should be okay with that too.  I shouldn’t resent my reality, so my new goal is to be okay when it means I miss a scheduled post.

Become zen.  It’s my biggest resolution.

Of course, all the others still apply.  I want to knock out my back list.  I want to read for fun… and I’d also like to find a good ARC balance.

Mostly though, I just want to feel grounded and happy.

May we all have a prosperous 2019!

About Birdie

Don’t look for her in any bar, club, crazy raging party, or anywhere there may be a large gathering of strangers. She’s more likely to be found tucked into the corner of the couch watching one of her favorite shows, or preferably under a comforter with her current novel.

  1. Happy new year! I hope you find zen this year. I need to be better about just accepting things as they are and not getting upset over things that don’t go the way I want them to. Life happens!
