Review:
There are some series that no matter how much time has passed, you never stop missing it. That is how I would explain THIRDS. It is the series that I never stop missing, no matter how much time has gone by.
I think it’s partly because the fandom is so wonderful, and if you’ve really immersed yourself in it you’re sucked into the vortex of fancasting, jokes, and memes. You’re enveloped in THIRDS 24/7. And the best part, THIRDS Thursday. Even when we’re waiting for the actual books we get little quick dips into Destructive Delta’s world. We get little scenes of Dex and Sloane on a date, or Cael and Ash goofing off at home. Thirds Nerds LIVE for THIRDS Thursday.
So, that makes it even more exciting when Beyond the Books has been released. You see, most of us have already read these snippets and yet we still hurry out to get a copy and we loyally reread them all, smiling and laughing just as hard as we did the first time. And crying. There’s always crying.
Beyond the Books Volume 2 was everything I thought it would be. It was romance and jokes, best friends and lovers. It was big ole Therians playing with a ball, and over protective mates losing their cool.
It was everything! It was everything, and not enough. Thank goodness I have next Thursday to tide me over.
Big thanks to Dreamspinner Press for providing an advance copy of this book in exchange for an honest review!
Sounds like a pretty amazing fandom 🙂

They’re definitely the friendliest fandom I’ve ever interacted with.
