Hi Ava! Thank you so much for tagging me in the School Subjects Tag. It’s been a looong time since I was in school. It feels almost as long as forever. This should be a lot of fun, like slipping back to my high school days via books.
Any who reads this, please pop over and visit Ava at Reads, Rhythms, and Ruminations. I promise, her blog is really cute and she has fresh and interesting content. 🙂
Maths
What’s a book that left your head spinning in circles.
This book hit me hard. Not only was the story amazing, but the ending slaughtered me.
English
Which book do you think has beautiful written expression?
I tried to think of something more academic, but I don’t really do classics. Maggie Stiefvater is one of the most beautiful writers I’ve ever read.
Physics
Who is your favourite scientifically minded character from a book/film?
Cael from THIRDS! He’s such a cutie, and I love reading all about him and Ash.
Chemistry
Who is your favourite literary couple?
Jamie and Claire. They have the healthiest and most romantic relationship I’ve ever read.
Biology
Who is your favourite book/film/series character?
Ever since I finished Foxhole Court I’ve been obsessed with Andrew Minyard. It’s been really hard, because I really want to reread.
French
What is your favourite foreign book/film/programme?
I haven’t seen all of the newest season yet, but I love Sherlock.
Art
Have you ever judged a book by its cover, even if you weren’t meant to?!
Oh yeah, all the time. I’m terrible for not reading a book because of a cover, and then loving it so much.
History
What was the last historical book you read?
I like KJ Charles, and I can’t wait to read the next one.
Geography
Which literary destination would you really like to visit? (They can be real or fictional!)
Fictional: The Wizarding World
Real: Scotland (Outlander)
Drama
What’s a book that you think has a lot of over-dramatic hype?
Can I just not answer this question? I have a list of books that I don’t think were worth all the good reviews, but I don’t really like dwelling on it and putting down books other people like. I hate when people put down my favorite books, and I don’t want to alienate anyone. To each their own.
TAG!
I had pretty good luck leaving my tag open last week. So many of you tagged yourself, and it was kind of exciting to see who decided to join in and play. So, please tag yourself again and let me know! I love getting those notifications.
Thank you again, Ava!
Awesome post! Thanks for the sweet shout out. The Raven Boys has been added farther up on my TBR. Sherlock is so amazing! Loved your answers. 🙂
