500 Followers!

I woke up this morning to a big beautiful notification on my phone.  I’ve finally hit 500 WordPress followers!

I’m so proud of Birdie Bookworm, but I would be just as proud of it if I only had 5 followers.  Knowing there are others out there who were interested enough to follow me makes everything better.

Thank you to each and every one of you for clicking that follow button.  Thank you for the likes, and the conversation.  Having Birdie Bookworm AND feeling like I’ve made a few online friends in the community feels so great.  I truly love this community.

So, this is for ALL of you!

Don’t look for her in any bar, club, crazy raging party, or anywhere there may be a large gathering of strangers. She’s more likely to be found tucked into the corner of the couch watching one of her favorite shows, or preferably under a comforter with her current novel.

        I co-blogged at Badass Book Reviews for 3 years. Then I branched off and started Birdie Bookworm in July of last year. So 9 months of solo blogging. I can’t believe it’s been almost a year.

        Wow! That’s awesome. You’ve been blogging about the same amount of time as I have (about 4 years). I’m so happy to hear you’ve had so much success since going solo. 🙂
