The High’s & Low’s!

I had a good month!  Surprisingly, since everything in my personal life was pretty hectic.  I’m astonished that I managed to read 15 books.

I think the most exciting part of my reading month was that I managed to squeeze in 4 rereads!  I love rereading books, and I rarely get the opportunity to reread.  I’m so scheduled.  I’ve been dying to reread these four books, and I knocked them all out this month.  That felt good.

I was also so happy because I got a THIRDS book and another book by TJ Klune.  Olive Juice was so beautiful and gut wrenching all wrapped up in one small novella.  TJ Klune always surpasses my expectations.  And of course, I always want more Dex.  Even if he was just a side character in Darkest Hour Before Dawn, it was still wonderful being back in that world.

And then of course, I got to read Letters of the Lost, Bridget Kemmerer’s best book so far.  Actually, looking at my list of books up there, I had a really awesome April.  This was a great reading month.  I’d love if they could all be this wonderful.

Next Month  Reviews

On the Schedule

Fairy Godmother the-love-interest God Shaped Heels over Head Theives of Nottica Monet Murders

The Potentials

Sutphin Into this River turn-coat finnikin froi quintana

Well, my good friend Angie has been enticing me to finally read Santino Hassel, and she’s in love with the Five Borough’s series, so I think I’m going to be bumping that up at some point.  Then, I’m still slowly working my way through TJ Klune’s backlist, and I think Into This River I Drown looks so good.

I also need to work on my backlist, so I may try to knock out the next Dresden Files book.  Plus, I do need to get caught up on this one, so I can read along with the masses when the next installment is released.

Finally, I’ve been loving those rereads so much that I think I want to knock out the Lumatere Chronicles series one more time in 2017.

Obviously I’m feeling ambitious and I won’t actually get to all these.  A girl can dream though.  Right?

About Birdie

Don’t look for her in any bar, club, crazy raging party, or anywhere there may be a large gathering of strangers. She’s more likely to be found tucked into the corner of the couch watching one of her favorite shows, or preferably under a comforter with her current novel.

I loved Letters to the Lost, too. I’m glad you had a great reading month. Cheers to May!

  2. 15 books! Wow that is impressive. I might actually make headway in my TBR if I could accomplish that 😉 I noticed that I am not familiar with your upcoming reads, so I am looking forward to being introduced to some new titles. Happy Friday!
