WWW Wednesday #7

Welcome to my first WWW Wednesday!

WWW Wednesday is a meme that is currently hosted by the wonderful bloggers at Taking on a World of Words, but it was originally created at A Daily Rhythm. It’s a simple, but fun, meme where you answer three questions on your own blog, and then leave a link to your post in the comment section at Taking on a World of Words!  That way you can see everyone else joining in, and they can come peek at yours!

One question for each W!

 What are you currently reading?

Heroine Worship

I waited so long for this book, after loving the first one.  I hope that I feel as good about the sequel as I did about Heroine Complex.  Especially since they changed leads.  So far so good though.

What did you recently finish reading?

Perfect Score Destiny of Dragons

Perfect Score wasn’t what I was expecting.  It was interesting, but I do think it could have been better.  On the other hand, while Lightning Struck Heart was only a three star read, A Destiny of Dragons was more than what I’d hoped for.  TJ Klune continues to hold a top spot on my favorites list.

What do you think you’ll read next?

some-kind-of-hero Skin after Skin

This is going to be sooo hard to choose.  I love Troubleshooters and Suzanne Brockmann, AND I love Psycop and Jordan Castillo Price.  I’ve been waiting for both of these books for years!  Years and Years.  They’re going to be some pretty amazing books!

About Birdie

Don’t look for her in any bar, club, crazy raging party, or anywhere there may be a large gathering of strangers. She’s more likely to be found tucked into the corner of the couch watching one of her favorite shows, or preferably under a comforter with her current novel.

I’m currently reading “Keys to the City” by Lisa Schroeder, a middle grade novel & “Stuck” by C.T. Collier, a cozy mystery. I recently finished “My Secret Guide to Paris” and “Sealed with a Secret”, both by Lisa Schroeder. What’s up next includes about 5 picture books for review and “The Other Einstein” by Marie Benedict, which is about Einstein’s first wife who was quite brilliant on her own.

I really like children’s literature – children’s, not YA. I’m very picky about any YA/Teen literature that I read/review, but I love picture books and middle grade fiction. 🙂 Plus my cozies. I’ll always have my cozy mysteries. 🙂
