The High’s & Low’s!

I am so shocked by how much I read this month!  After such a low November I expected to read very little.  It’s impossible to read during the holidays. There’s just too much going on.  Thankfully I was able to squeeze in a decent amount of books.  Only two of them really blew me away, but I enjoyed some aspects of all of them, so it was a good month.  (I say every month was a good month, so obviously I’m an optimist.)

I also managed to squeeze in a few potential selections from last month, knock out (almost) everything I had prescheduled, and grab a few reads on the spur of the moment.  I can’t resist holiday romances this time of year, so I should have planned that.  I’ll remember next December.  (Probably not actually, but I’ll try.)

Next Month Reads

On the Schedule

magic-bites Rebel Down by Contact MagicBurns This is Not a Love Letter Withered

The Potentials

Warbringer Iron Gold Thunderhead Walk the Earth turn-coat Nightwalker

I need to get my butt in gear, because I have a decent amount on my plate for January.  I have my scheduled reads, but then Iron Gold and Thunderhead both come out.  To me, those are ‘Must Read Immediately’ books.

Batman also comes out early January, which I really want to read.  (I have a small Batman obsession.)  I just feel like I need to read Wonder Woman first, because it’s kind of a series.  I also need to continue my Dresden Files read, and stop putting it off.  I really do want to be caught up whenever the next installment comes out.

It’s ambitious, so hopefully I’m up for the challenge.

Did you have a productive December?

Do you have any major books planned for read in January?

I want to hear all about you!

About Birdie

Don’t look for her in any bar, club, crazy raging party, or anywhere there may be a large gathering of strangers. She’s more likely to be found tucked into the corner of the couch watching one of her favorite shows, or preferably under a comforter with her current novel.

  1. Looks like you had more good books than bad, yay! And ooh you’re reading Withered + Sere next month?! That’s one of my faves, I hope you love it! But it’s way diff from his other books I’ve read (though for me it was my first Klune book), so I’m curious to see what you think.
