Top Ten Tuesday | Anticipated Releases

Anticipated releases. We’ve all got them. I used to keep a shelf on Goodreads for exactly this reason.

Lately, I’m not so good about updating it.

This is comprised of what was on that list, but also what’s in my NetGalley account for review. Of those, these are the ones I’m most excited for.

1. The Extraordinaries

by TJ Klune

TJ Klune’s superqueero’s!
This book is going to be fan-friggin-tastic.
I’m thrilled!

2. Well Played

by Jen DeLuca

I absolutely love the atmosphere of this series.
Setting your contemporary fiction books within the Renaissance Festival was sheer brilliance.
If Well Played is as good as Well Met, it’ll be a slam dunk.

3. Crazy, Stupid, Bromance

by Lissa Kay Adams

I don’t know why, but I’m hooked on this series, even though my opinion on the previous book was only lukewarm.
Still, I can’t seem to give it up. Here’s hoping this book redeems the story overall.

4. Brothersong

by TJ Klune

Brothersong will be the epic conclusion to TJ’s wildly popular Green Creek series.
I have no doubt, none at all, that this final story will be fantastic!

5. Spoiler Alert

by Olivia Dade

Who would look at that cover and NOT get excited! I’m all about stories with plus sized heroines, so I made sure to snatch this up.

6. Hands Down

by Mariana Zapata

Mariana’s new book was just announced yesterday. I immediately threw it on this list.
When I finished Wall of Winnipeg, this was the story I wanted next! And, now I’m finally getting it!

7. Boyfriend Material

by Alexis Hall

I teeter-tottered on if I should request this book.
I’ve read Alexis Hall books before, and enjoyed them, so I finally broke down. I have a feeling I made the right call.

8. Haunted Heroine

by Sarah Kuhn

I had no idea Sarah Kuhn was continuing this series!
When I saw this on Netgalley I made sure to nab it.
I’m always down for this trio of kick ass superheroes!

9. In a Holidaze

by Christina Lauren

I’ve become a pretty regular reader of Christina Lauren. Some are better than others, sure, but they are always entertaining. They always make me feel good. I have no doubt, this will also be true of In a Holidaze.

10. Where Dreams Descend

by Janella Angeles

Where Dreams Descend came at me out of nowhere.
I have no idea if it’ll be good.
What I do know is the synopsis sounds good, and that cover shoots an arrow right through my heart.
It’s beautiful.

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme previously hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, but as of 2018 is hosted by hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl!

About Birdie

Don’t look for her in any bar, club, crazy raging party, or anywhere there may be a large gathering of strangers. She’s more likely to be found tucked into the corner of the couch watching one of her favorite shows, or preferably under a comforter with her current novel.

  2. I CANNOT WAIT FOR HANDS DOWN! That one made my list, too. So did Well Played. I already read Crazy Stupid Bromance and In A Holidaze. Both are really fun. And I’m reading Spoiler Alert right now — it’s great so far. You have some fun reading ahead of you in 2020.

  3. I’ve seen 2 and 3 on a lot of lists today. I still haven’t read THE BROMANCE BOOK CLUB, although I just put it on reserve at the library. Again. Last time, I wasn’t able to get to it before its due date. Hopefully, I can prioritize better this time!

I have read WHERE DREAMS DESCEND. Unfortunately, I didn’t love it. I thought it was waaayyyy too long for one thing. I hope you love it, though.

    Happy TTT!

  4. I recently added The Extraordinaries to my wishlist, but I forgot about it while writing my list! It looks like it’s gonna be great. I’m excited about Boyfriend Material, too.

    Here’s my TTT.

  5. Ooh, so many good choices! I’m hopping on the TJ Klune bandwagon, and need both of these! I’m really close to finishing Well Met, so Well Played will be a must read for me too. And Spoiler Alert looks terrific!
