Scythe by Neal Shusterman
(Release Date: 11/22/2016)
There’s something that’s spectacular in Neal Shusterman’s writing. No matter which book you pick up, there’s always a level of creativity that’s beyond anything else you’ve read. I guarantee that nobody else has written anything like Unwind, or Everlost. The compassionate voice he used when writing Challenger Deep is so unique to himself, you can’t help but feel swept up. Even his chapter in Violent Ends was unique. My co-worker, who read it first, was telling me about each chapter before I started it. She talked about the chapter from the perspective of the gun, and I just knew that that was the one written by Neal Shusterman. Only Shusterman would go there.
It’s because of that level of originality I’ve come to expect that I’m overly eager for Scythe. I’m 100% confident that this story is going to be everything I love. (Plus, damn that cover is awesome!)

Great pick! This is the first I’ve heard of this one but I’m so glad that you featured it because I love Neal’s novels.

Oh, I can’t wait to read this. Shusterman is one of my favorite authors, and I especially loved the Unwind Dystology. This sounds so amazing. I hope we both love it. 🙂
