Top 5 Tuesday | A, B, C, D, E Authors

Happy Top 5 Tuesday!

Well, how about that! Creating a table of contents by author last name must have been kismet or something. This was so easy! Seriously! The hardest part was when I had to choose between authors I’ve only read one or two books from. I hope everyone else is thanking their past selves too.

I’m giving myself a pat on the back!

Top 5 Tuesday was started by Shanah at Bionic Book Worm!

Ilona Andrews

Definitely the best UF author duo out there! There isn’t a bad series/book in their backlist. It’s like, their pens are magic or something. (Yes, I am aware they no longer actually pen their novels. It’s a saying!)

Leigh Bardugo

As far as I’m aware, other than Ninth House, Leigh Bardugo has stuck to the Grishaverse for her stories. Oddly enough, there’s another author who does the same thing. One of them I hate, and one of them I love. Psst… Leigh Bardugo is the one I love.

Heidi Cullinan

Heidi Cullinan writes some really good relationships. The first book I read by Heidi was Love Lessons, and it was great. However, it was Carry the Ocean that made me a forever fan. Also, look how beautiful those covers are??

Taylor Donovan

Okay, so technically two of the books listed are from the same series, but this is all I’ve read by her. (She was the D author I’d read the most of.) I am enjoying the By Degrees series, whenever the last one comes out. But, I really loved Disasterology.

dividerelegant

Eli Easton

Sooooo, technically I’ve only read The Mating of Michael and Unwrapping Hank for sure. I loved them both. Superhero sounds very familiar, so familiar I actually remember scenes. Problem is, I can’t find any proof anywhere I’ve read it. I’m counting it anyway!

About Birdie

Don’t look for her in any bar, club, crazy raging party, or anywhere there may be a large gathering of strangers. She’s more likely to be found tucked into the corner of the couch watching one of her favorite shows, or preferably under a comforter with her current novel.

  1. I have a friend that keeps screaming at me to read Ilona Andrews, but she’s the only person who I know who has read her books, so I’ve always been a little sceptical. Good to know there are others!!
